Hi everyone! I’m Lauryn Mae, a 10-year-old girl with a big heart and a love for art, music, and dance. I’m so excited to share a bit of my world with you through this blog.
I’m a creative and imaginative girl, and I love to express myself through art and music. I’m also a bit of a bookworm, and I love to get lost in a good story. I’m always up for an adventure, and I love to explore new places with my family and friends.
I’m a kind and compassionate person, and I always try to help others whenever I can. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, and I always try to live by that principle.
I’m also a bit of a perfectionist, and I like to do things right the first time. I’m always striving to be my best, and I’m not afraid to challenge myself.
I’m a proud daughter, sister, and friend, and I’m so grateful for the people in my life. They make me who I am, and I wouldn’t trade them for the world.
A Special Bond
One of the most important people in my life is my mom. She’s my best friend, my confidante, and my biggest supporter. But sometimes, my mom gets really sick headaches called migraines. They make her feel terrible, and it’s hard to see her in pain.
When my mom has a migraine, she often feels nauseous, dizzy, and sensitive to light and sound. She can’t concentrate, and even the smallest noise can be overwhelming. It’s heartbreaking to see her suffer, and I want to do everything I can to help her feel better. Lauryn Mae – helping mom with her migraines to get the best of her health.
I know that there’s nothing I can do to make the migraine go away completely, but I can do things to make her more comfortable. I can bring her a cold cloth to put on her forehead, or I can make her a cup of tea. I can also help her to relax by reading her a book or playing her favorite music.
I’ve learned that it’s important to be patient and understanding when my mom has a migraine. I know that she’s not feeling well, and she may not be able to do the things she normally does. I try to be as helpful as possible, and I always let her know that I’m there for her.
Learning to Help
I wanted to do something to help her feel better. So, I started learning about migraines and what triggers them. I learned that certain foods, stress, and lack of sleep can make migraines worse.
I also learned about relaxation techniques like deep breathing and meditation. I started practicing these techniques with my mom, and I could see a difference in her mood. She seemed calmer and less stressed.
I also wanted to help around the house more, so I started doing chores without being asked. I would tidy up my room, help with the dishes, and even fold laundry. I knew that these small acts of kindness could make a big difference in my mom’s life.
I also started making her favorite snacks, like her special chocolate chip cookies and her favorite fruit salad. I would surprise her with these treats when she was feeling down, and it always brought a smile to her face.
I even started making her cards and drawings to express my love and support. I would write her heartfelt messages and draw pictures of her favorite things, like flowers and butterflies. These little tokens of affection always brightened her day.
A Special Day Out
One day, when my mom was feeling particularly unwell, I wanted to cheer her up. I remembered how much she loved spending time in nature, so I planned a special day out at her favorite park. We packed a picnic basket with her favorite treats, and I even made a homemade card to express my love and support.
As we walked through the park, I pointed out the beautiful flowers and trees, and we talked about our favorite childhood memories. I could see the tension in her shoulders start to melt away as she relaxed and enjoyed the fresh air.
After our picnic, we went for a leisurely stroll along the lake. We watched the ducks swim by and listened to the sounds of nature. It was so peaceful and calming.
When we got home, my mom felt much better. She thanked me for planning such a thoughtful day, and I felt a sense of accomplishment knowing that I had helped her feel better.
